As first reported by Yeah That’s Kosher, a new upscale kosher dairy Greek restaurant will debut in Forest Hills, Queens, this month. Klio Restaurant and Bar, kosher under a Vaad Harabonim of Queens certification, is set to open at 107-02 Queens Boulevard on the corner of 70th Avenue, inside BLVD Condominiums, a residential complex.

Although no details have yet been revealed about the menu, the outlet reports that the project is “spearheaded by members of the local Bukharian Jewish community, teaming up with a master chef from Israel.” The roster of offerings will reportedly include fish dishes, sushi, pasta concoctions and a “curated bar menu.”

According to the Instagram account @bukhariancommunity, the eatery is owned by “Bukharian community member Gabby Dekhkanov.”

Klio, named after the Greek muse, will be joining an already crowded lineup of kosher dairy spots in the neighborhood, like Cafe Premiata and the Upper Crust. But from the looks of it, this one’s aiming to bring a more high-end vibe to the area.
