When viral NYC hotspot BUBA Bureka announced that it was going kosher, it broke the Internet. And, now, there’s even more reason to rejoice at the mere existence of such a lovely destination in downtown New York: just in time for warmer weather (finally), the bureka paradise is debuting an adorable outdoor shed smack-dab in the middle of Greenwich Village.

The bright-red structure, BUBA’s signature color, is not much bigger than the eatery itself and is mostly standing room only, but it adds a welcome layer of space to the pretty tight interior. It also reinforces the to-go nature of the burekas, which come in pizza pie–like boxes and are perfect for an on-the-go bite.

Speaking of the food: the current lineup includes a Dutch potato bureka with caramelized onions; a classic cheese version filled with gouda, feta and ricotta; a spinach-artichoke option that gives the American favorite a Middle Eastern spin; and a delightful roasted mushroom bureka with mascarpone and oregano that will likely have you ordering a second round. As usual, all orders come with a jammy hard-boiled egg, pickles and onions, crushed tomato, tahini and spicy schug.

We can’t think of anything more pleasurable than biting into a freshly made bureka while standing outside one of the most exciting kosher restaurant openings of the year, soaking up the sun during a spring we spent all winter waiting for. See you there?
