Itzhak Perlman, the iconic Israeli-American violinist, is set to celebrate his 80th birthday this fall at the Beacon Theatre with a performance of his legendary 1995 album In the Fiddler’s House.

The event, which also marks the 30th anniversary of the album’s release, will take place on Monday, September 29, at 7:30pm.

“It’s hard to believe it’s been 30 years since Fiddler’s House was first released and broadcast!” Perlman said in an official statement. “This project has meant so much to me—sharing music that’s deeply personal, with incredible friends and musicians. I’m so touched it is still being celebrated all these years later, and that we’ll have this wonderful chance to be together again.”

Tickets will range from $52 to $1,007 and will be available here starting Thursday, July 31, at 10am.

Expect a slew of other musical greats to take the stage alongside Perlman, including Hankus Netsky, Andy Statman and members of the Klezmatics, the Klezmer Conservatory Band and Brave Old World.

No stranger to the spotlight, Perlman recently wrapped “An Evening with Itzhak Perlman—”an autobiographical multimedia performance that toured major American cities. During his shows, the virtuoso shared anecdotes from his life and career while performing with his longtime pianist, Rohan De Silva.

The Beacon Theatre concert promises to be a rare convergence of musical mastery and cultural celebration, spotlighting both Perlman’s enduring legacy and the vibrant influence of klezmer music on American stages.
