Here’s a fun fact: a few years ago, Jews catching a tennis match at the U.S. Open were able to participate in a minyan if their timing was right. Although we’re not entirely sure that’ll be the case at this year’s tournament at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center, one thing’s for sure, fellow Jews: there will be at least some kosher food available for purchase, all to be taken down with a delicious Honey Deuce, the tournament’s signature cocktail made with vodka, lemonade, raspberry liqueur and garnished with frozen honeydew melon balls on a skewer.

The 2025 U.S. Open officially kicked off last week, but as the players make their rounds and the matches heat up, it’s nice to have a handy little guide to the top places to fuel up around the stadium—which is exactly what we’ve put together for you below.

An important note: there’s actually only one kosher-certified spot on premise (more on that in a second), but there are other restaurants nearby that are well worth a pre-match meal. And so, without further ado, here are the best kosher food options near (and at!) the 2025 U.S. Open.

Glatt Kosher

The single kosher-certified eatery at the tournament is the aptly dubbed Glatt Kosher, a cart located near court 12. Here, you’ll get to order all sorts of meat-focused sandwiches, including a BBQ brisket option, a pastrami one and a sweet Italian sausage with peppers and onions delicacy. In addition to that, expect vegetarian and gluten-free choices that can be modified to your liking.

Salute Restaurant

Salute is an Uzbecki restaurant about 10 minutes away from the stadium by care (and 30 minutes by foot). You might be seeking more “traditional” fare before the match but if you’re not too picky, this is a great option for fish, salads and kebabs. 63-61 108th Street, Forest Hills

Burger Spot

There’s nothing quite like a properly made burger when it comes to sports-related foods, which is why we highly suggest visiting Burger Spot in Forest Hills before catching the game. Also a 10-minute drive from the stadium, you’ll find the eatery inside Carmel Grocery. 64-29 108th Street, Forest Hills

Cafe Premiata

This one’s only worth it if you have a car available, are really craving dairy and can manage your time correctly. An 11-minute car ride away from the tournament is Cafe Premiata, a sit-down kosher restaurant in Flushing that’s pretty good. We’d be remiss not to warn you that walking to and from Cafe Premiata would take nearly one hour, so make sure to wear comfortable shoes while they are sleeping. 72-08 Main Street, Flushing
