Iconic food brand Manischewitz is renowned for its kosher wines, matzahs and more. Starting this week, however, its instantly recognizable logo will be hitting the streets as the new Manischewitz Deli on Wheels food truck makes its debut, serving classic Jewish cuisine staples throughout the New York and New Jersey area.

Later this week, the mobile restaurant will be dishing out all-beef hot dogs, knishes, matzah ball soup, babka, rugelach, an assortment of hors d’oeuvres, macaroons and limited-run Jake Retzlaff special-edition matzah boxes between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. at the following New York stops before heading to New Jersey:

  • Wednesday, March 26: 444 Woodbury Road in Woodbury
  • Thursday, March 27: 1080 McDonald Avenue in Brooklyn
  • Friday, March 28: Old Country Pointe in Plainview
  • Tuesday, April 1: 955 Central Park Avenue in Scarsdale
  • Thursday, April 3: Uncle Giuseppe’s, Walt Whitman Road in Melville

Visitors to the food truck at any of these locations can enjoy free samples of the brand’s offerings during these specific dates only.

The business will pause operations from April 12 to 20 for Passover and resume service after the holiday, when items will start at $4 and up, though specific future locations have yet to be announced. As for kosher certification, all products will be glatt kosher under the supervision of OU.

And if you’re worried about being able to spot the deli on wheels, don’t be: the bright orange food truck is hard to miss.
