Reserve Cut is opening a second location on Park Avenue

Reserve Cut, one of the most highly regarded kosher restaurants in New York, is opening its second-ever location on Sunday, September 8, at 109 East 56th Street near Park Avenue. This will be the eatery’s first new concept since debuting its original restaurant in the Financial District in 2013.

According to an official press release, the destination will offer a menu similar to the one being served in FiDi, with standout dishes that range from the tuna and black truffle sushi roll to the umami olive-fed Wagyu steaks.

All the meat used and served will be sourced from the owning family’s butcher shop Prime Cut, which operates out of Brooklyn and was first opened by Albert Allaham in 2004 after his family fled Syria for the United States.

In terms of kashrut, expect the fish and steaks to be prepared in separate kitchens under the direction of Isaac Bernstein, the restaurant’s culinary director, and executive chef Erick Bromberg.

Also on deck: over fifty bottles of wine, including a pretty hefty selection of Israeli options.

Reserve Cut Park will be open Mondays through Thursdays from noon to 10:30pm, Saturdays from sundown to 11pm and Sundays from 5pm to 10:30pm.
