Le Marais in NYC

We’re just a few days away from Passover, when Jewish households basically turn their homes upside down to kosherize their kitchens, also a convenient excuse for some serious spring cleaning. With so much cooking and eating at home coming up, the idea of enjoying at least one or two meals out feels that much more exciting. But where can you go during Passover?

As of now, five kosher spots in Manhattan have announced that they’ll be turning over their kitchens for kosher-for-Passover dine-ins. Keep in mind that, while we’re focusing on Manhattan, restaurants in Brooklyn, Queens and nearby New Jersey are also joining the effort. You can check out YeahThat’sKosher’s annual comprehensive list to see all the restaurants going kosher for Passover across the U.S. this year.

Kosher for Passover restaurants in Manhattan in 2026:

Eighteen

240 E 81st St, New York, NY 10028

In addition to offering dine-in service during chol hamoed (menu includes entrees like burgers, kebabs, steaks, fish and chicken dishes), Eighteen is hosting both seder nights. Seating is limited for those dinners, so reservations are recommended. Email info@eighteenrestaurant.com or call 212-517-2400 for more information on that.

La Brochette Steakhouse

340 Lexington Ave, New York, NY 10016

Upscale steakhouse La Brochette will also be open both during chol hamoed days and for the seders. For reservations, email info@lbsteaks.com or call 212-972-2200.

Le Marais

150 W 46th St, New York, NY 10036

All throughout Passover, legendary midtown kosher steakhouse Le Marais will only be accepting walk-ins. Given the popularity of the destination and the dearth of options during Passover, we expect there to be a crowd here every day, so plan accordingly.

Shawarma Shabazi

668B Amsterdam Ave, New York, NY 10025

The Middle Eastern restaurant on the Upper West Side, sister to Talia’s Steakhouse, was conceived, mostly, as a takeout and delivery business, which more than okay during Passover especially. The holiday menu will include traditional shawarma, sabich and schnitzel, plus a number of different slaws, salads, babaganoush and more.

Talia’s Steakhouse

668 Amsterdam Ave, New York, NY 10025

Talia’s Steakhouse has been open during Passover, offering glatt kosher for Passover food for both seder nights and during chol hamoed, for over two decades. The destination is so popular that, this year, the restaurant decided to rent out a few other locations on the Upper West Side to accommodate all seder bookings. You can check out menu details right here.
