Finally, the little ones are getting the literary celebration they deserve—captained by none other than PJ Library, the unique, wildly reliable and absolutely awesome program that sends free, age-appropriate Jewish children’s books to families with kids up to age 12. Honestly, can you think of a better organization to helm the first-ever Jewish Children’s Book Festival?
The event takes place at the 92NY on Sunday, January 11, 2026, from 10am to 4pm. It’s free to attend, but registration is required. Here’s the link for that.
You can browse the full schedule of events right here, including workshops for ages 0–5, 6–12 and adults, plus author signings, musical performances and a memorable closing ceremony.
A few things to keep in mind: all strollers must be left outside the 92NY’s designated area; light snacks and water will be available, though no full meals will be provided; and, perhaps most importantly, the festival is open to all PJ Library subscriber families. If you’re not yet part of the community, you can sign up right here (clearly, it is very worth it).
