These kosher restaurants in NYC are offering great Rosh Hashana dinner menus

Believe it or not, Rosh Hashana is just around the corner. officially beginning on Wednesday night, October 2.

As usual, Jews around the world will be celebrating one or two nights of chag with a seder but, if we know anything about New Yorkers, at least some of them are looking for ways to skimp out on the cooking and, perhaps, even indulge in a night out during the holiday.

To that intent, here are three Rosh Hashana offerings that will let you do just that at kosher restaurants across the city.

Eighteen
240 East 81st Street, Manhattan

You have two options this Rosh Hashana at Eighteen: book a table for in-restaurant dining on the second night of the holiday (the first one is already sold out) for $140 per person plus tax or opt for catering instead. The restaurant’s dinner menu includes challah, water, bread, a first course of Caesar salad, fish and a combination platter and a main course of either chicken or sliced beef. Side dishes and desserts are also on offer. The catering menu, on the other hand, is pretty varied. You can browse through it right here.

Le Marais
150 West 46th Street, Manhattan

Le Marais is offering a family-style Rosh Hashana menu available for pickup. Keep in mind that all orders must be placed here by Monday, September 30 at 5pm. You can browse through the menu here, but we’d be remiss not to highlight the smoked salmon platter as an appetizer, the boeuf bourguignon entree, the chicken schnitzel, the vast array of sides (saffron orzo! Honey and harissa-roasted Moroccan carrots!) and two dessert options.

Talia’s Steakhouse
668 Amsterdam Avenue , Manhattan

Talia’s Steakhouse is offering two Rosh Hashana dinner menu options, one for $118 and the other for $150. The former does not include appetizers. The restaurant is also preparing a Rosh Hashana lunch menu for $109 each and a kids menu that includes chicken fingers and meatballs. The orders are available for pickup or as pre-paid meals to be enjoyed at the actual restaurant on the chag nights. You can browse through all options right here.
