Perhaps in an effort to retain customers following the filing of Chapter 11 and the sudden closure of its Times Square location, Patis Bakery is offering a pretty awesome promotion all throughout the month of December: all challahs bought online or in-store on Fridays will be sold at half price when using the code BRCH50.
According to the company’s online menu, both the large egg challah and the water challah cost $7 each—so you’ll be able to snag the Shabbat bread for a little over three bucks, which is very cheap.
But that’s not all. In an Instagram post, the bakery also discloses that patrons can get their hands on a free pastry with the purchase of any handcrafted beverage (minus hot tea and coffee—but why opt for those when you can get a latte with a pastry alongside of it for next to nothing?). To top it off, all online orders are currently 15% off while all deliveries above $30 will not be charged a fee.
We’d be remiss not to also mention the delicious food that all of the bakery’s locations are currently serving, from well-made pizza pies to the sorts of soups that are de rigueur in NYC’s current climate, sandwiches and, of course, French pastries that will have you at least pretend that you are in France for a few minutes a day.
Clearly, Patis Bakery is putting out all the stops… and we are absolutely here for it.
