American Dream, the massive entertainment complex in New Jersey and the second largest mall in the United States after the Mall of America in Minnesota, will soon be home to two new kosher restaurants: Miznon, by superstar Israeli chef Eyal Shani, and Fish Grill, a kosher eatery that hails from California.
YeahThatsKosher first reported the exciting news, also mentioning that both destinations will likely debut in Q2 of 2025, so some time in the spring.
American Dream is already home to a pretty solid roster of kosher eateries, including Bravo Pizza, Falafel & Chips and Chickies.
There are also a bunch of kosher dessert shops and cafes on site: Cinnabon, Dunkin’ Donuts, Mrs Fields Cookies, Geoffrey’s Cafe, Red Mango, Oreo Cafe and IT’SUGAR.
Back to the would-be openings: Miznon already operates two other kosher locations nearby—one in Manhattan’s Times Square and the other in Holmdel, New Jersey—so we expect the American Dream menu to be similar to the ones already on offer.
From the excellent falafel burger in a pita to the ratatouille pita (tomato perfumed eggplant, zucchini, onion, tahini and hard boiled eggs), the steak and egg dish, and, of course, the destination’s legendary baby cauliflower dish, there are usually a ton of options to choose from at the eatery.
Fish Grill, a pretty popular kosher destination in California, also operates two other locations in the area. In addition to grilled fish specialties, the menu includes salads, pasta dishes (the salmon pasta look particularly appealing), poke bowls, tacos, sandwiches and more.
Kosher folks will have some very good food options at American Dream moving forward!
