Perhaps unexpectedly, the massive American Dream mall in New Jersey is already home to a solid lineup of kosher eateries, including Bravo Pizza, Falafel & Chips and Chickies. Now, more are on the way: Miznon and Fish Grill are both planning to open later this year, while Sweet Crunch Tanghulu just debuted on Court G, Level 1.

The dessert shop specializes in kosher versions of tanghulu, a traditional Chinese treat made by skewering fresh fruit and coating it in a crunchy, clear sugar shell. It’s the sort of relatively simple but creative treat that you won’t feel guilty indulging in after walking through a massive mall packed with shops, rides and attractions—especially if you’ve got kids in tow (who will love the treat too).

Word to the wise, though: if you want to feel even less guilty about eating the sugar-heavy concoction, avoid peeking at a video on the company’s Instagram page showcasing how each skewer is prepared.

There are a bunch of flavors to choose from, including strawberry, grape, mandarin orange and blueberry. Our favorite, of course, is the mixed, which we think of as a fruit salad on a stick. Bonus points: any option you order makes for great Instagram fodder.
