Last month, Malka Dumbo—celebrity Israeli chef Eyal Shani’s uber-popular, kosher-certified Middle Eastern restaurant in Brooklyn—kicked off a new dinner series spotlighting a range of global wines and cuisines. The debut, an intimate Italian-inspired five-course tasting with pours from Herzog Wine Cellars, made waves online, with kosher and non-kosher diners alike fawning over the decadent plates and wine pairings all over social media.

Next week, the restaurant is back at it, this time turning its gaze westward toward California.

On Monday, November 3, and Wednesday, November 5, Malka will team up with Covenant Wines for a five-course tasting menu inspired by the restaurant’s signature dishes and paired with Covenant’s Israeli and California vintages.

Expect Sagie Kleinlerer, Covenant’s managing director, to be on site sharing the winery’s story and pouring standout bottles, including the 2016 Covenant Israel Syrah, 2015 Covenant Chardonnay Lava and 2024 Covenant Blanc de Blancs Sparkling Wine.

There are two seatings available per night, each one $145 per guest plus tax. Reservations are available now via Resy right here.
