In celebration of Purim, Upper East Side kosher restaurant Rothschild TLV will be giving out free drinks on Thursday from 7pm until closing time—no purchase (or dinner reservation!) necessary.

It’s rare for a New York City restaurant to offer complimentary cocktails, especially with no purchase required, so it’s safe to expect a packed bar at Rothschild TLV later this week.

“Any drink qualifies,” an official spokesperson tells Pretty Kosher. “No purchase necessary. We’re celebrating Purim and everyone is more than welcome to continue the party by dining at Rothschild TLV.”

While classic drinks are always a go-to, there’s something about Rothschild’s signature cocktails — especially since they’ll be free — that has us particularly excited.

The White Basil, for example, sounds especially refreshing: gin-infused basil, lemon juice, red wine and fresh basil make for an intriguing combination. Other options include the restaurant’s take on the Moscow mule, this one made with vodka, fresh mint, galaxy ice and topped with ginger beer. The summer-ready watermelon (Bacardi rum, egg whites and watermelon nectar) and the smoked garden (Johnnie Walker Red scotch infused with vanilla bean, sweet vermouth, bitters and apple sour) sound delightful as well.

A delicious cocktail after Thursday night’s Megillah reading is the perfect pre-weekend plan, don’t you agree?
