It’s official: the plain cream cheese served at PopUp Bagels locations in New York and Connecticut is now certified kosher.

The trendy company made the announcement on Instagram yesterday.

“Thrilled to announce that our plain cream cheese is now certified KOSHER!” reads the caption alongside a photo of the schmear in its instantly recognizable PopUp Bagels-branded tub—complete with a yellow label noting it “contains dairy.”

Since its launch, the Adam Goldberg–led company has served kosher-certified bagels, but until now, customers who keep kosher could only enjoy them plain or with those little pre-packaged Philadelphia cream cheese packets. Now, folks can finally indulge in PopUp’s beloved rip-and-dip experience just like their non-kosher-eating counterparts.

No word yet on whether the company plans to expand its kosher offerings, but we’re certainly appreciating this latest development.

Here are the five PopUp Bagel locations in New York that are serving kosher bagels and cream cheese at the moment:

  2. 338 Columbus Avenue at West 76th Street on the Upper West Side of Manhattan
  3. 139 East 57th Street by Lexington Avenue in midtown Manhattan
  4. 661 Driggs Avenue in Williamsburg, Brooklyn
