It is not every day that we get to snag free kosher treats in New York, which is why we’re so excited about Free Slurpee Day at 7-Eleven (it’s July 11—see what they did there?).
In honor of the chain’s 97th birthday, customers are being offer small Slurpees in either a classic flavor or a limited-edition one, all served in a special cup designed by 7-year-old art and Children’s Miracle Network (CMN) Hospitals National Champion Nolan as part of a collaboration between 7-Eleven and CMN Hospitals.
“Slurpee Day is our annual celebration of 7-Eleven’s birthday and our iconic frozen drink; it’s a day of joy, community and good old-fashioned summer fun,” said Marissa Jarratt, Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing and Sustainability Officer at 7-Eleven, Inc., in an official statement. “We are thrilled to share the nostalgia and create new memories with Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals and our customers who cherish this tradition so dearly.”
All you need to do to get your hands on the complimentary slurpee is… ask for it (while supplies last). Walk into all participating locations, wish 7-Eleven a happy birthday and ask about the free drink.
What’s more, 7REWARDS members who scan their cards at the shops will also be given a second free small Slurpee to be redeemed any other day in July.
