The largest-ever Jewish speed dating event is happening in Brooklyn this week

This Friday, January 17, at 10:30 a.m., Met@Chabad will bring together 600 young Jewish professionals from 100 cities and 30 countries for the largest Jewish speed-dating event in the world.

The happening will take over 667 Eastern Parkway, and attendees can register online right here.

“Today’s young professionals want something real,” said Rabbi Mendy Kotlarsky, Chairman of CYP International at Chabad World Headquarters, in an official statement. “In recent days, especially, we’ve seen a surge of young Jews eager to build Jewish homes, seeking alignment in faith, culture, and future family life.”

Met@Chabad extends beyond this weekend’s event, combining an AI-powered, value-based matching algorithm developed in collaboration with Yale, along with guidance from trained matchmakers, to maximize the potential for meaningful connections. Friday’s event, designed to “spark genuine connections,” is part of the larger Chabad Young Professionals Summit in Crown Heights. Throughout the weekend, attendees will also have the opportunity to participate in a unity concert (Saturday night at 8:30 p.m.), featuring live music, Havdalah prayers, and “reflections on Jewish resilience,” among other programs.

The night before, on Friday, Leo Braudy, a star from Season 7 of Netflix’s Love is Blind, will join Rabbi Shais Taub for a conversation about his newly embraced Judaism. They will discuss how his journey on reality TV led to deeper self-reflection and a renewed commitment to his heritage.
