You can grab $1 kosher pizza slices in Queens today only

To celebrate its 26th anniversary, beloved Pizza Professor at 141-25 Jewel Avenue in Queens, is selling pizza slices for $1 only until 4pm today.

The eatery usually only sells full pies, which makes this promotion that much more special.

In case you are craving more than a slice, though, plan to visit the joint today between 4pm and 9pm, when the pros will be serving personal pies for a mere $5, also in honor of the business’ anniversary.

Although we’re always partial to classic cheese pies, we’d be remiss not to mention the roster of eclectic offerings that Pizza Professor is known for: the MVP is prepared with a pesto base that’s then topped with vodka sauce, marinara and mozzarella, for example, and the cheeseburger pie combines a three cheese sauce, Impossible burger meat, tomatoes, onions, bacon bits and mozzarella.

But there’s much more: on the menu, you’ll find a white pie (mozzarella, ricotta and Parmesan cheeses) alongside a garden option (broccoli, tomatoes and white onions), the Jerusalem pie Israeli spices, corn and green olives), the Godfather pie (spinach, tomatoes and fresh garlic) and the volcano pie (Buffalo “chicken,” jalapeño and flaming sauce).

The culinary inventiveness gives rise to a plethora of interesting dessert options as well: a Twix pie prepared with sweet dough oozes caramel, cookies and Swiss milk chocolate, for example, and the Fruity Pebbles pie is just what it sounds like: sweet dough baked with marshmallow fluff and Fruity Pebbles, all served with a zabaglione dip, a classic Italian dessert traditionally made with egg yolks, sugar and sweet wine.

You can browse through the entire menu right here.

Fair warning: you might visit Pizza Professor for its one-day only super-cheap slices and pies today, but you’re certainly going to go back to try the entire list of offerings very soon—and we wouldn’t blame you for that.
