Folks in midtown Manhattan looking for a very quick kosher bite can now venture into the 7-Eleven location at 171 Madison Avenue by 33rd Street to grab pre-packaged meals from Dougie’s.
As first reported by Yeah That’s Kosher, the convenience store now offers a variety of kosher options priced between $12 and $16. Choices include chicken salads, corned beef wraps, eggplant parmesan wraps, chicken poppers and more. All products are certified kosher by JSOR.
While 7-Eleven locations across the country have long carried kosher Slurpees and snack-like options, the addition of meal-style items is a relatively new development. This expansion is sure to appeal to midtown Manhattan’s sizable kosher dining community.
If searching for a more “traditional” dine-in experience in the area, consider eating at Tiberias right around the corner, heading to Park Avenue and 30th Street at Mendy’s glatt kosher deli or, perhaps, opting for a quick wrap or some sushi at Jerusalem Cafe on 36th Street by Fifth Avenue.
Especially during lunch hour, midtown Manhattan is a bit of a haven when it comes to kosher food options—and we’re absolutely here for it.
